Why not just make ballistic cards by hand?
- It's time consuming
- It's easy to make mistakes
- It's difficult to write small enough to produce a truly compact card
- The result can be hard to read
- There's no easy way to make edits
- There's no easy way to add color
Why not use word-processing/spreadsheet software to make ballistic cards?
- It can be expensive
- It requires a learning curve
- It's overly-complex for this purpose
- It's not designed specifically for creating small, printable, custom tables
- Getting optimal results might be difficult (or impossible)
