Why not just make ballistic cards by hand?
  • It's time consuming
  • It's easy to make mistakes
  • It's difficult to write small enough to produce a truly compact card
  • The result can be hard to read
  • There's no easy way to make edits
  • There's no easy way to add color
Why not use word-processing/spreadsheet software to make ballistic cards?
  • It can be expensive
  • It requires a learning curve
  • It's overly-complex for this purpose
  • It's not designed specifically for creating small, printable, custom tables
  • Getting optimal results might be difficult (or impossible)
